Welcome to the 1867 Sanctuary
The Historic Haven for Arts and Culture
This beautiful and historic gathering place, known for its excellent acoustics, is now maintained by Preservation New Jersey, and serves the central New Jersey and Bucks County region as an impressive venue for concerts and entertainment – and, of course, weddings, memorial services, and other ecumenical and interfaith activities.
Located at 101 Scotch Road in Ewing, NJ, it is easily reached from routes I-95, NJ 29, 31, and US 1 and 206.
The mission of our concert series is to:
- Provide a quality space for the best artists in the region to perform and record, and for audiences to enjoy them.
- Provide a place for inexpensive, high quality entertainment for school and college students in the region.
- Support our community of artists by compensating them fairly.
- Generate funds needed to sustain the landmark building, and enhance its capacity to support a wider array of artistic and cultural events and activities serving the greater community.
We invite you to experience and enjoy diverse genres of music, accomplished and up-and-coming talent, simple theater and inspired art in a stunningly beautiful and acoustically magnificent hall.
